In Luke 2:14, the angels proclaimed, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!" This verse reminds us of the joy and peace that comes from knowing and worshiping our Lord and Savior. As we continue to sing, we are reminded of the many blessings we have received through His grace and mercy. In Psalm 100:1-2, it says, "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!" Let us come together with grateful hearts, lifting our voices in praise and worship to the One who is worthy of all honor and glory.
After three years of the COVID-19 pandemic without the joyous tradition of carol singing during the Christmas season, this year, we thank God that we can finally gather together to sing carols and share the gospel with those who have never heard of Jesus Christ. It is a wonderful opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the shepherds on the night of Jesus' birth and spread the good news of salvation. In Luke 2:10-11, the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." Let us seize this chance to spread the message of hope and redemption through our singing, and may it touch the hearts of all who hear it.
