Celebrating Children's Day (Jun 11, 2023)

Today, AFC Church Mae Sot organized a joyful event to celebrate Children's Day. With God's guidance, children from different ethnicities and various regions of Myanmar gathered here, accompanied by their parents. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about God's word and commemorate this special occasion. Today, we gather as a community to celebrate Father's Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring and appreciating our fathers. Time flies, and yet again, it's another year, and just like in the past, we come together to commemorate this day and express our gratitude by presenting gifts to them. May God bless our fathers abundantly. In this article, we will reflect upon the significance of fathers and draw inspiration from the sacred texts of the Bible. Fathers hold a unique place in our lives. They are our providers, protectors, and mentors. From their unwavering love and guidance, we learn valuable life lessons and develop into the individuals we are meant to be. Mother's Day Event - (May 13, 2023)

Today our church held a simple Mother's Day activity, where women gathered together to count God's grace and reflect on the joys and challenges of being a "mother" over the years. This was a rare opportunity for the women in our church, coming from different places, backgrounds, languages, and cultures to come together for a simple Mother's Day celebration. We are grateful for Saya James, Sayama Esther and others who led the activity and helped to organize it. May God bless everyone. Motherhood is a great role, and God has given mothers the ability to fulfill this responsibility and overcome various challenges.
